- Lefty - © David Holden - Feb 1995
-
- Lefty is a Relocatable Module which simply reverses the action of the
- left and right mouse buttons (Select and Adjust).
-
- This is intended for left-handed users who find it difficult to use the
- standard setup, although whenever possible it is best to try to learn to
- manage with the normal buttons. It was originally written for an
- ambidextrous user who operates the mouse using his left hand with some
- applications and his right with others. as you can imagine, this is far
- more confusing than a straightforward left-handed user.
-
- To use lefty simply double-click on the 'Lefty' Module and it will
- automatically load. You should now find that the actions of your Adjust
- and Select mouse buttons has been exchanged. There is no method of
- disabling Lefty once it is installed. This was felt to be unnecessary,
- as 99.9% of users will either need it all the time or not at all. Also
- it would really have needed yet another icon to clutter up your icon bar
- and would have taken more memory.
-
- To stop lefty working simply press F12 and type -
-
- rmkill lefty
-
- That will remove the module and your mouse buttons should revert to
- normal.
